Namasagali Alumni New Year Update: Reflections and Plans for 2024

As we stand on the threshold of a brand new year, it brings us great joy and nostalgia to extend warm New Year greetings to our cherished Alumni family. Reflecting on the past, we are filled with pride at the incredible achievements and milestones that you, our esteemed alumni, have reached since your time at Namasagali College.
The dawning of a new year symbolizes fresh beginnings, renewed aspirations, and boundless opportunities. We are confident the coming year will bring even more success, growth, and fulfillment to each of you. May your endeavors be met with triumph, and your journeys filled with joy, discovery, and prosperity.

Your involvement—whether through Alumni subs, fundraising, collaborations, or participation in alumni events—has been invaluable. Together, we have built a strong and enduring community that transcends time and distance.
Key Highlights of the Year
- Mixing Level Event
- Held at Silver Springs Hotel.
- Great turnout with fun and engagement for all attendees.
- Royal Mile Tree Planting
- Took place at the Igenge Palace in Bugembe.
- This initiative supports the “Greening Busoga” project.
- Call for local Alumni in Jinja to follow up on the planted trees.
- Alumni Subscriptions
- Ended the year with only 412 subscribed Alumni out of over 6,000.
- 2024 subscription starts 1st January via the Stanbic bank account.
- Iconic Building Project
- Raised UGX 45,153,000 in cash and additional pledges in 2023.
- Construction begins January 2024, led by MBW CONSTRUCTIONS (Engineer Patrick Batumbya).
- Total estimated cost: UGX 302,052,700.
